Our Straw on Galileo: Ideal for Stanley® Tumblers & for Foodservice – Durable & Sustainable!
When the editorial team from Galileo, a popular German science and lifestyle TV show, stopped by, one thing was immediately clear: the interest in alternatives to plastic or paper straws is growing – and that's exactly what KNYG stands for. The TV feature has already aired, and we’d like to give a brief insight into how the shoot went and why our stainless steel straws are likely to be the last straw-related decision many people will make in their lives.
A Filming Day Full of Impressions
The visit began at our office, where we shared our founding story in an interview – from the first prototype to today's KNYG Straw. A special highlight was the presentation of our self-built laser engraving machine, which allows for individual customization of the metal straws – whether for corporate branding or as a personal gift.
Afterward, we presented our products at the B&B Hotel in Frankfurt and discussed their applications in the foodservice industry at the "Oosten" rooftop bar. It quickly became clear why our straws are so convincing: they are durable, dishwasher-safe, and ready for any purpose (and any glass).
