The KNYG Straw combines the benefits of sustainability, hygiene, and durability in a unique, flexible stainless steel straw. Unlike paper straws, it won't soften or alter the taste of your drink. While glass straws are tasteless, they can break easily – the KNYG Straw, in contrast, is robust yet flexible. Conventional metal straws are often rigid and difficult to clean, whereas the KNYG Straw allows for particularly easy cleaning thanks to our patented rinsing system. It's also dishwasher-safe, free of harmful substances, and Intertek-tested , thus meeting the highest safety standards.

For the KNYG Straw we only use stainless steel with the material quality seal 1.4301 – the gold standard in the food industry.

It is a stainless steel with a high proportion of chromium (18%-20%) and nickel (8%-10.5%). These two components make stainless steel a suitable material for everyday use, found in every kitchen. Chromium ensures the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. In combination with nickel, the stainless steel becomes even more durable.

Good to know: The nickel content isn't a disadvantage! Quite the opposite: The higher the nickel content, the more dishwasher-safe the stainless steel is.

The KNYG Straw can be cleaned quickly and residue-free in the dishwasher. If you don't have a dishwasher or need to remove stubborn drink residue, you can also use the included cleaning brush.

Good to know: The diameter of our drinking straw allows sufficient water flow for safe cleaning in the dishwasher.

The high-quality material also contributes to the KNYG Straw being at least as hygienic to clean as, for example, a glass straw. Our stainless steel is very robust and durable and can easily withstand extremely high temperatures in the dishwasher – thus reliably removing germs and viruses as well as drink residue.
